Linette

Linette manufactures baby and adult diapers to the branded and private label markets. The company has two manufacturing plants in Greece and Cyprus. Greece's plant operates three production lines, while Cyprus's operates two. Each employs 120 staff. The total production capacity for baby diapers is 350 million pieces per year and for adult diapers is 50 million. Total turnover of both plants was 35,7 million Euro in 2002 while the expected turnover for 2003 is 41,2 million Euro. Linette has been manufacturing its own brand of baby diapers, Nannys, since 1984. Nannys baby diapers have a 45 per cent share of the Cyprus market and a 9 per cent share of the Greek market (volume share Nielsen-IRI).
