Astir was established in 1968 in Ammochostos by Mr. Andys Ioannides, originally under the name "Astir Refrigeration Works" and operated as a manufacturer and supplier of commercial refrigeration equipment. In 1977 the company relocated to purpose-built premises in Lemesos and was renamed "Astir Refrigerators Industry Ltd". Following its successful preliminary years, ASTIR expanded into other related fields of operations, such as, the importation of catering equipment. In 1990 following its successful bid, ASTIR diversified its operations to include the importation of internationally recognised brands in refrigeration. Now, at the beginning of a new century, ASTIR is poised to deliver a whole spectrum of renowned "brand names" in refrigeration and catering equipment to professionals across the island. With its wealth of experience in the field, it is able to offer you unparalleled knowledgeable direction in what equipment will best suit your needs.
